Steve Swartz: The Man Behind Imbibe Bar & Staffing Service

Born in Cincinnati Steve is a family man happily married with two children. In college in the early 2000’s at Colorado State University he walked on the NCAA team as middle distance runner and was on scholarship by year two. Team Captain of the Track and Field and Cross Country Team for four years.

Starting in 2012 Steve Swartz opened IMBIBE Cincinnati specializing in private event bar staffing and cocktail catering needs. Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, Steve starting bartending in college and worked in amazing places like Japp’s Since 1879 bartending and managing, Distill Milwaukee as head mixologist, Maize, Rich’s Proper, Brand Ambassador and Sprits Sales Rep at Karrikin Spirts Distillery, and Operations Director/co-founder OTR Still House/Knox Joseph Distillery.

A family man at heart, Steve’s life revolves around his loving wife and their two children. While family forms the core of his world, Steve’s journey is punctuated by milestones that showcase his diverse talents and indomitable spirit.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience. This includes Cash, Check, Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle. For those preferring to use Credit Cards, we do accept them, but please be aware there’s a 3% processing fee.

How can I reserve my date or event with you?

To secure and reserve your date or event with us, we require a deposit. This deposit is equal to 50% of the total estimated cost of the event. The remaining balance is then due prior to the start of the agreed-upon service time. It’s important to note that any changes to the event details can be made up to 21 days before the function. However, these changes should not exceed the initial deposit amount. Please contact us to learn more.

Do you only provide staff, or can we order all necessary items through you?

While we pride ourselves on our professional staffing services, we offer much more than just personnel. We can supply all essential beverage service items you might need for your event. This includes cups, napkins, straws, mixers, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcohol when it’s applicable.

Can you supply the alcohol for our event?

Absolutely! We can provide alcohol for your event, granted that the venue or private function permits it. We offer a range of options to cater to your specific needs and preferences.

Is there an option to customize our order or the service you provide?

Of course! We wholeheartedly encourage our clients to customize their orders. After all, our primary goal is to bring your unique vision for your event to life. Just let us know what you have in mind, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We might need some extra supplies. Can you provide additional items upon request?

Yes, we can. We understand that every event is unique, and you might need specific items to make your event perfect. Here’s a list of additional items we can provide upon request:

Is gratuity included in the total cost?

Gratuity is not automatically included in the total. While it is always appreciated when our staff is recognized for their hard work and professionalism, it is never mandatory. To facilitate this, we utilize “Tasteful Tips” jars at our events. However, if you’d prefer not to have these jars at your event, please let us know in advance, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
